Single table stats run using BRTOOLs every day

HI Gurus,

Please help me to schedule a single table stats run in BR-TOOLS or DB20 periodically ( as in every day ) , i know how to run manually once  using BRtools or DB20 but i want to know how can i run schedule the stats run automatically for that Single table every day.

Hi Shravan,

You can write OS script to run the same brcommand daily.

or you can try to schedule any sm36 job.

Just curious to know, why do you want to run the statistics collection every day for a table?

DB20 calls BR*Tools to perform the action. So it depends on what OS the system is running.

If it is on Unix/Linux then a crontab job with the BR*Tools command to update the statistics will do.

The report RSANAORA can also be used and scheduled.
