Resynchronizing Technical System Information from SLD into LMDB

Former Member

Hello Experts,

We were unsuccessful to correct technical data in one of our systems in LMDB. So we deleted the technical system from LMDB manually and then tried to resync from SLD.

However, we are not able to add the system back to LMDB (resync from SLD is not happening).

We tried below link:

Resynchronizing Technical System Information from SLD - Managing System Landscape Information - SAP ...

We are getting error while trying to choose option #1 Resynchronization from SLD in the technical system editor :

"Technical System 'SID~ABAP' not found. Data might be obsolete"

[We are not comfortable to use the other option in the SAP library (Resynchronization by report), because we do not want to overwrite all data]

We ran report REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT, but it did not help.

Any assistance will be appreciated,

Regards,

Sujit.

Hi Sujit,

could you post the logs from the following batch jobs:

SAP_LMDB_LDB*

and

SAP_LMDB_NOTIFY_LDB_*

You can also try the following reports in SA38

RLMDB_CLEANUP_INST_SOFTWARE ( to delete obsolete installed software information)

and

RLMDB_CLEANUP_TECH_INSTANCES (to delete obsolete technical instances)

This should clear orphaned info from your LMDB.

You can then rerun the above batch jobs.

Hello Jan,

Appreciate your reply.

We fixed our issue by removing the system from LMDB and SLD completely. Then ran the RZ70 from managed system and it brought back the managed system information in SLD and pushed the technical information back into LMDB in solution manager.

Thanks.
