Agentry App. Can't start Agentry Test Environment from Eclipse.

Hi All

With a certain point I can't start Agentry Test Environment from Eclipse.

If you press Start Test Client it set Client Status to *RUNNING* but nothing happens,

no Agentry Client windows shows.

I can't Reset the Client  because all menus are disabled.

How to fix it?

I tried to restart Eclipse, SMP and Computer. It doesn't help.

I use

  Eclipse SDK

  Version: 4.2.2

  Build id: M20130204-1200

  Agentry Editor Plugin 70.11.0.5

I would start with making sure your VC++ runtimes are correct.  I would also recommend upgrading to the latest version SP13.

After I installed Agentry_70.13.1_EditorPlugin_x86_64.zip in the Eclipse and restarted Eclipse.

I can't work with my Agentry projects.

Eclipse shows Agentry project as empty folder.

And error on open Test Environment window.

The editor can't install the runtime for C++ but they are still needed.  Can you install it and then open the editor again, make sure you install the 64 bit version

All errors gone when I  installed - Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64)

Just wondering why SMP SDK Installer doesn't ask or install it.

Make sure you have installed the 2015 C++ 64 bit runtime. After that everything is working for me.

About ATE in eclipse - just click on another tab(trash bin for expm) and then return to test environment - you will see ate.

what eclipse do you use?

i have problems wuth juno, and changed to neon - no troubles with activing tabs and properties.

also new 7.0.13 has standalone ate in sdk package. Like it was in earlier versions. I prefer using it.

Best Regards

Stanislav

The standalone ATE is there for historical purposes but has been replaced by the integrated ATE in the Editor.  You should be using the integrated ATE as the standalone one has not been updated to support all the newer controls and platforms.  It is also slated to be removed from the SDK in a future release.
