Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the Acitivities in SAP CRM.
I can see the list of activities in my accounts. In the first line of each activity I can "edit", "delete" and "close" the acitivity. What does "Close" mean here? I do not see the purpose behind this function. When I click on it, the activity disappears, but can still be found under the Acitivity search.
Can someone explain this to me, please?
Thanks a lot!
Best regards
Sina
Hi Sina,
It will set status to completed I1005. Once activity is completed, most operation in activity is not possible. Once completed, you may archive it with archiving object crm_act_on.
Delete will delete activity from database table. Close does not.
If activity is not wrongly created, it is suggested to Close the activity once it is finished, rather than Delete. It should be deleted by archiving.
