Activate ACM for new documet type

Hi,

we already use ACM for a document type where all document info records are assigned to a ACM context.

Now we have the requirement to use it for another document type with the difference that most of the documents of this new document type should be accessible to all users and only a small amount of confidental documents should be restricted by a ACM context assignement.

The plan was now to set the ACM flag in the DVS customizing for the document type and use the trusted user concept.

Is it correct that users with the trusted user permission can access documents that are not assigned to an ACM context?

If a document is assigned to ACM context the user that needs access to it must be assigned to the ACM context with a ECC context role. Right?

Kind regards

Florian Wiedemann

Hello Florian ,

Yes , a trusted user can access the document even if it is not assigned to the Access control context .

And for a normal user , assign the user to the role in the ACC and also assign the PFCG role to the user in the backend ( basis activity )

Thanks ,

Abhishek.
