Action items from Third party vendors after Upgrade to PO 7.5

Hi Friends,

We are planning to migrate from SAP PI 7.1 dual stack to PO 7.5 single stack. We have many third party systems where PI is sending/receiving requests. We are thinking to infirm all out third party vendors about this upgrade. What are all the action items from them after the upgrade?

We are using adapters like File, Idoc, Soap, advantco, XI, etc..

I heard PI end-points will be changed. what are all the additional changes required by third party vendors?

Ram,

• For Scenarios like AS2 , SOAP inbound you need to provide new URL for the third party vendor.
• Also if their are any interfaces which are using SSL certificates in old PI system , then you need to generate new SSL certificate and share the same with third party.
• And also if any external connections are their then you need to include the new PI system IP address at the firewall level. ( if required the vendor also has to update this new IP)
