Organizational unit <<NAME>> is locked by <<USER>>

Hi,

I'm at the University THM Mittelhessen in Germany and I'm teaching the SAP HR Basics.

In this case, the students have an exercise to create positions in the transaction PPOME.

If the students start the exercise, the first of them can do it, the others get the message: Organizational unit <<NAME>> is locked by <<USER>>, Message-ID: 5A498.

What can I do? In my last course this message didn't appear.

Any ideas?

Hi Benjamin,

It is using the same org unit in other session too, don't use same org name.If it didn't work then try with SM12 to unlock it.

Hi Javed,

you are right. It is in the same org unit. The university gets a new SAP version. In the previous version the same exercise was no problem. Many students could add a position in the same org unit.

Is there an opportunity to switch off the locking of the tabel?
