Leave request (workflow question)

Hi,

we are using the standard workflow for leave request (WS12300111). Is there also an existing workflow that sends an WI/notification to the issuer of the leave request? Or how is it handled that a employee knows that his leave request is accepted or declined?

Hi Vanessa,

Once the leave is approved or rejected, employee can see the status in "my leave request" application in the history area. Or in the calendar you can very well see the color coding.

I don't think this is workflow, the status approved or rejected is updated in the backend and is fetched in the my leave request app from standard HR PA tables.

Hello Tejas,

thanks a lot for your answer. This is clear so far. I am searching for a possibilty that the employee doesn't need to take action and lokks into the application. It is just to have a notification (i.e. a Workitem) and I can use the extended notifications to send the mail.

Have you explored report RPTARQEMAIL?

This is the program used to send notifications to Employee and Approver.
