Object ownership issue - "The object is currently open in read-only mode..."

Hi all,

I have a problem with a calculation view. I cannot activate/change it because the system says that "The object is currently open in read-only mode...".

What can I do to "unlock" the object or switch the ownership? Is there a SQL Statement?

I have found the solution. It is very simple. You can use

"Switch Version" Button, and the "Take over from user xyz".

I have faced the issue. But when I try to takeover, it says that the object is marked for deletion by some other user. Detailed screenshot -

In what cases, does this happen? Is this any way linked to deletion of the repository. We also faced a similar situation where many number of objects have been marked for deletion by an user who never touched those objects.
