Applying changes in Project Profile to Existing Project

Hello Friends,

My Scenario is I have made changes in Project Profile which is already in use on Production. now User wants all new changes should be apply to current running projects too.........

Is there way to apply new changes done in Project Profile to Existing Project???

Hi,

Chnages done in the project profile will reflect in new projects created after transporting the changes only.

Retrospective changes cannot be done to the existing projects.

Hi Omkar,

It purely depends on what changes you are trying to make in the project profile.

If the fields in the WBS element or Project already greyed out, then there is no way to change the data as it is locked, so these fields will be reflected with new project as per the advice given by others.

Agree with Ritesh..Retrospective changes are not done..

If you want to change old projects.. Need to do it manually or write a program to change the settings..

still you may  not be able to change a lot of things..
