Hello Experts,
We are trying to create RFC SAPSLDAPI in ECC system that points to another PI system. The program ID SAPSLDAP_<SID> is correctly registered in PI system NWA->Configuration Management->Infrastructure->JCO RFC Provider. And in SMGW it can be seen.
I have maintained the correct gateway host and gateway service of the system in the RFC. Still we are getting the below error "Transaction Program Not Registered":
Logon | Connection Error |

Is it a firewall issue between ECC and PI system?

Hi,
Below points may help u.
1) /etc/hosts file entry of ECC & PI server details in opposite server
2) If registered program ID in PI ABAP side(such as in RFC SAPSLDAPI), working properly. maintain the same in ECC also.
3) Please select "default gateway value" . Gateway Host & service maintenance not require / not mandatory.
Apart from that, u can check secinfo & reginfo entries in PI system.
