Is Renaming required for ESR Objects while migration from SAP PI 7.0 to PI 7.5 AEX ?

Hello All,

Please let me know whether Renaming required for ESR Objects while migration from SAP PI 7.0 to PI 7.5 AEX ?

Because in PI7.0 we have named objects like MI_ (Message interface) , IM_(Interface mapping), But in upgraded version object names are different like service interface,Opertaion mapping.

I am not aware of such restriction.

No need for that.

you can however start you new objects in the new naming.

Naming convention requirement changes based on requirement and project.Its not mandatory to change,

Hi Jeevitha,

It is not required. You can keep the same name as PI 7.0. while transporting through file system or CTS it will update automatically.
