SAP APO SNP Aggragation Planning not Happening Automatically for Loc. Prod .Hierarchy

Hi,

1.I am using a Loc Hierarchy only for my location product hierarchy. for my Business Scenario of aggregated Planning.

Loc. Product Hierarchy is not automatically generated.

2.But location  product Hierarchy master data   are not getting saved under Loation.Product Hierarchy under "Generated Hierarchy"

Please refer the screen shot in the attachment for the Hierarchy  structure.

3. Aggregation not happening for safety stock, the field in the planning area for safety stock aggregation is greyed out.

Please suggest.

Yes,SAP Notes was useful read.

But can i use only Location Hierarchy for gernating Loc. production Hierarchy as my client does not want to maintain Product Hierrachy as the products keep changing frequently.

Is there any way to generate Loc. product Hierarchy Directly?

Presently I tried maintaining both Loc & Product Hierararchy but the Loc.Product Hierarchy is automatically Generated only for Loc-Product Group Level.

In Product Hierarchy will need frequent changes, is there any way to maintain these Product Hierarchy in a mass Transaction . I also see MASSD is not supporting Product Hierarchy Maintainence.Please suggest.

Hi,

Safety stock is a time series key figure while aggregation only happens to liveCache order key figure in this case ...
If you want the safety stock to be aggregated using SNP aggregation function, you may need to use the "save safety stock as liveCache order" function in PPDS ...
