RDS for SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Hello All,

In SAP Solution Manager 7.2 there is no more BPR ( Business Process Repository). As per one document it replaced by RDS (

SAP ERP Foundation rapid-deployment solution)

Can anyone guide how to get this RDS and how to import it in Solution Manager 7.2, Transaction code SOLADM for the tab-SAP Best practice packages.

Hi Prakhar,

if best practices packages are not displayed in the download function they are not available yet for Solman 7.2. This is true for your package, unfortunately.

Actually the query is from Ashish and I am trying to understand whether he has setup up a new system or upgrade because for an upgrade it should have come up by default if RDS was already installed on 7.1.

Yes for new system as you have shared I can understand if it will be rolled out slowly.

Thank you for reply.

I had checked that, but only S/4 HANA best practice available there. While I want ERP best practice document. ( SAP ERP Foundation rapid-deployment solution) . I am not able to get this option for selection.

How to get this option.

Hello Ashish,

In Solman 7.1 ST-RDS was a separate addon to be deployed and then only you can choose the RDS packages in your solman project.

This has been discontinued in the newer version. Please refer below SAP note.

Hello Prakhar,

Yes, we have ST-UI-100 Component in Solman 7.2.

But in best practice only HANA content is available. I am looking for ERP processes.

Is your system is an upgraded system from Solman 7.1(with RDS installed already) to Solman 7.2 ?

OR

Is this is a fresh installed system?

Could you please confirm and check below (Source SAP same deck)

Its a fresh installation.

I did not found any reference content as mention. Found for HANA only.
