Issue relating to MASK in Data Collection

Hello,

In one of the DC Groups' I have a DC Parameter that is of type Numeric. It has MIn value / Max Value and MASK is set as ##.#

Now when I enter any value which is out of spec and not matching the MASK, ME gives me a popup saying DC Parameter is outside min/max limits. When I press OK, it takes me back to DC Collection screen but DC parameter value which is  of wrong format is greyed out and I can't correct it.

Example:

DC Group with DC Parameters. Mask is set as ##.#

Now when I enter values and press Save:

If I press OK then ME takes me back to DC Collection screen but does not allow me to correct the value which has wrong format:

Is this a bug?

Regards,

Soham

Hi Soham,

This observation really looks like a bug, though the expected behavior requires investigation of the entire setup.

Soham,

This looks like a bug, as I wrote, because I do not see anywhere in the documentation that some fields of DC Group can be editable whereas others are greyed out. You should open a support ticket against MFG-ME-PRD-DC component and provide the entire scenario with full configuration.
