Excise JV error - Not enough balance

Hi All,

  When we post excise JV- system is throwing an error   "Not enough balance, cannot save  Message no. 8I414"

  Few posts has been posted by various users regarding the same error but it still this question remains unanswered. As suggested in various posts necessary configuration is in place, posting periods are open, balances are not required to be carried forward as we are implementing CIN is current fiscal year

   Kindly let us know in what could be the possible error

Not sure, what for you were executing excise JV.  

balances are not required to be carried forward as we are implementing CIN is current fiscal year

but still, you need to carry forward in SAP since the business would be running in legacy system till that date and there should be some plus or minus.  You need to consider that also.  Discuss with your FI team who can do this.  Alternatively, have a look at OSS note 1455103

   Note 1455103 checked and balance carried forward but still we face the same issue
