Fiori Time sheet: Error in DPC class during transport movement

Hello All,

We have moved our time sheet application changes to Production system. The transport ended in error with return code 8. We didn't face this issue during movement to Quality.

Below is the error which we are getting during transport import.

Program CL_HCM_TIMESHEET_MAN_DPC_EXT==CP, Include CL_HCM_TIMESHEET_MAN_DPC_EXT==CM008: Syntax error in line 000001

Method 'RAISE_EXCEPTION' does not exist. There is,however, a method with the similar name 'RAISE_EXCEPTIONS'.

Here are my findings after TR import.

1. The program entry for CL_HCM_TIMESHEET_MAN_DPC_EXT==CM008 exists in TRDIR table. Where as this entry is not available in Quality         and development systems.

2. When I open this editor, I see a message Method/function 'RAISE_EXCEPTION' does not exists'.

The above two statements are contradictory. We have not faced any issues while moving the same transport from Development to Quality.

We tried re importing the transport. But still the issue exists.

Please provide some pointers if anyone has come across such a situation.

Thanks,

Kishore

Hello All,

Issue resolved. Captured the class in a new TR and imported to Production.

Thanks,

Kishore.

Hi Kishore,

Could you please check the sp version of  backend component  for timesheet application in your system..

i.e. GBX01HR 600 in backend

Is the SP version same in dev, qa and pre for these components.

also, below are some of the relevant notes for timesheet application. check if they are already implemented in PRD system.
