sap gui loadbalancing issue

Hi All,

am trying to add new entry in saplogon with group/server selection ( Load balancing). am getting following error.

NO snc name defined for "/H/<IP Address>" Error : Server hostname/port not found.

note: the IP address, hostname and port number which is showing in the error is different SAP system details and not relevant to configuring system,

please suggest me the soultion if anyone know.

same working for other system without any issues.

I think you can add the message service port in  file name c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services as correctly said by Manish ..

Hi Sivaprasad,

Please check the entries in host file (local machine) & server for this SAP System.

Also please try to put entry against message server as:

<Message Server Name>:<Message Server Port>

e.g. ABCHOST:3600
