Fin planning months instead of periods

Hello Experts,

is it possible to Display the months in the fin planning instead of the periods. currently it is showing as 01, 02 , 03 and not Jan, Feb , Mar.

Please advise.

Hi Lin,

Please try overridding following Global switch setting in Customizing.

Area 0002 (Master Switches) and Name 0008 (Enhanced Capital and Resource Mgmt Switch (see SAP Note 1457426)) = 'X'

Then, if you want to enable the Fin. Plan. Dashboard to be setup as per the Fiscal year variant then -

Area 0010 (Portfolio Item FI/CO Planning and Integration) and Name 0006 (Fiscal Year Switch (see SAP Note 1457426)) = 'X'

Area 0010 (Portfolio Item FI/CO Planning and Integration) and Name 0007 (Default Fiscal year variant (see SAP Note 1457426)) = <Fiscal year variant in ECC>

0002 + 0008 is maintained

0010 + 0006 : entry is not there. Note 1457426 is showing Status can not be implemented. we have PPM6.1

0010 + 0007 : maintained.

Dear Aditya,

When switch 0010/0007 is maintained then this fiscal year variant is used when financial planning is called. Call the customizing under "Portfolio Management > Global Settings > Maintain Fiscal Year

Variant".

Select the relevant fiscal year variant and check the available "Period Texts".

The coding is checked in function module: /RPM/CONVERT_PERIOD_ID_TO_DESC
