SAP HANA Installation-Server Configuration

I went through the below link which mentions HP Proliant server configuration information. My server is HP Proliant DL380 Gen5

Will the SAP HANA platform installation is possible on my server? Need guidance.

Hi Bhargava,

As you may see in Supported Entry Level Systems list, it does not contain HP DL380 G5. In this case, you can't use it as neither of DEV\QAS\PRD HANA system.

If you want to use it as a personal learning environment, then maybe no problem.

Hi Bhargava,

Yes the HP DL380 with Intel Haswell CPU Architecture is supported as per SAP certified hardware link

check the memory available on your server and make sure you have the right Storage and OS in place for setting up the HANA system on this hardware

Thankyou for the response. My processor is Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5440 processor. Does this processor support for the installation? Can you help me with the hardware system requirements also regarding the installation?
