IDM 8 How to configure role assignment workflow

Hello ALL,

I will need some help. I'am new in IDM.

I've installed IDM 8.0 SP3 (Schema, RT, Eclpse Add-On). I imported all necessary packages.

I have also created ABAP, Java and Ldap repositories and executer Inital Load.

Now the customer want I configure the role assignment workflow.

All the tutorial I found are of 7.0 or 7.1, but newer of 8.0.

Could any one help me configure or send me the link of a step-by-step tutorial to achieve this.

Hi Saleh,

role assignment workflow can be configured in many ways depends upon the project, but best way would be to use the functionality of the member event tasks and set MX_APPROVERS for the role and work based on the MX_PENDING_VALUE entry type

The basic workflow would be in all the versions there isn't much difference
