Statistical WBS in Purchase otder

hi

is it possible to use Statistical WBS as account assignment for material procurement PO with item category Q?

it is not allowing in our system, I am cross checking if it is due to some customisation issue or standard does not allow for it. We need it to hit Project stock account for which material has separate valuation class.

Hi,

Statistical WBS can not carry real cost hence it wont allow.

Statistical WBS you can use it for Budget control as an auxillary account assignment along with another real CO object.

Hi,

I do not think you can use statistical WBS in PO.

Usage of Statistical WBS in material PO does not add any value to the process. You need a real cost object to book the cost. You need a cost center which can be assigned with the statistical WBS.

Is the statistical WBS having Cost Center where finally the cost should hit?? As just statistical WBS will not allow account assignment to PO..
