GIS-Server in Geo Maps

Hi,

we try to implement a Geo Map in Web Dynpro and thus we have to provide an URL of a GIS Server. The documentation says, that the IGS Sever has to be connected to a GIS Server.

Here the question arises, what products (namely GIS-Servers) are supported by the IGS-Server of SAP? Are there any freely available GIS Servers or trial versions (in order to test the Geo Map functionality)?

Has anyone any experience in that area?

Any help is appreciated.

Have a look at GRASS :

http://grass.itc.it/

It s a free software, and a GIS.

How this work can you explain me the architecure with SAP IGS, GEOMAP UI and With the GIS server GRASS. Can ESRI GIS server be used in this?
