Sender File Channel Error

Hello Experts,

Good Day!! I am getting the following error for the sender file communication channel

Configuration error: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.configuration.ConfigurationExceptionSet: The following configuration errors were detected:
- Value missing for mandatory configuration attribute file.archiveDir

Looking at the error , it seems to be the mandatory configuration attribute file.archiveDir is left blank. But has is anything to do with the archive folder or what is the root cause of this error?

Hello BRM,

Configure archive directory or change the processing mode to delete/test based on requirement.

Thanks Raghu, this error occurs if the processing mode is Archive but archive directory is not configured or it occurs for non Archive modes or due some other reasons as well?

it will happen only if you miss the archive directory or any wrong path maintained in archive directory.

you can read more about file channels which will give u more idea.
