Hi,
I am trying to create a similar WBS element number in 2 different controlling areas but the system is clearly not allowing it with a message "The WBS number already exists". May i know why we cannot create the same WBS elements in 2 different controlling areas?
Does this mean the WBS element must be unique at the client level?
Hi Sanjay,
I dont think you can make it, since the Project Definition coding mask is not dependent on controlling.

Hi,
As highlighted by Vinay, we can only create one unique WBS. this is the standard design.

HI sanjay,
irrespective of the controlling area you can not create same WBS again,
check in PRPS the corresponding PSPNR field is a unique field..
