Optimizer customer source

Hi experts,

We are currently implementing IBP for Supply and we came to the next situation:

we have 10 CLIENTS which can get supplies from different locations (multisourcing example)

on the master data CUSTOMERSOURCE on the field CRATIO we have 1 for each LOCATION that can

supply the customer, nevertheless while running the optimizer we got this error:

Invalid customer source for customer 9387, product AAXXXXX and time period ID 1141: Sum over quotas is 2.000000 (outside of allowed deviation)

This problem occurred only for 2 locations from the 10 clients.

How can we solve this problem or what do we need to change in order to supply 1 CLIENT  from 2 different LOCATIONS?

and when i delete the value on the field CRATIO on 1 custormer the optimizer work good, but when i put again the 1 on the field CRATIO on the other customer we have the problem.

Hi Jorge,

The total quota should sum up to 1 for a particular product at a customer. In your case, you have defined two entries for product AAXXXXX at 9387 and both have customer sourcing ratio = 1

Please distribute the ratio when there multiple locations supplying to one customer(for ex- customer ratio = 0.5 each), so that overall quota does not exceed 1.
