Dear All,
Dear All,
While i am trying to export audit data of users in SM20, i am getting memory low error. However it was not the same case sometime back. I think recently full audit data od user is getting downloaded while reading audit logs. Earlier only specific amount of lines would get downloaded and i could easily export the data. Can anyone suggest where exactly can i set data download limit in SAP.
Regards,
Adarsh
Hi Jainer.
1. Check the you local desktop and server memory resources? share the screen shot.
2. During the time the time of log downloading in SM21 any error message ?
3. If possible do the SAP system restart and then download the sm20 audit log.

Hi Sriram,
1.I have checked our SAP servers and there is enough amount of memory avaialble. Is it the cache memory that the sap system is using for this tcode?.
2.There are no errors in SM21.However i am attaching the screenshot of the error.
3.We do system restart every month for clearing the cache memory.
Should i set asny specific amount of pages in the below screenshot because i think 80 pages is more.
Could you suggest?
Regards,
Adarsh

Hi Adarsh,
Note that the "Memory low" is not an error. It means that after transaction has finished, you should leave the transaction to free the memory (i.e. /nex, opening new transaction). This way, allocated memory will be released after leaving the transaction.
It seems that, when trying to export audit data of users in tx. SM20, the amount of data being handled is quite big, reaching memory limits defined by memory parameters. That's why you can see on the down-left corner: "Memory low. Leave the transaction before taking a break!".
Did you get any dump related to shortage on memory resources? If not, jus remember to leave the transaction when finished to release the memory that has been allocated.
Regards,
Raquel
