Outbound IDOC for Sales orders - data filtering

Hi,

We currently have IDOC creation working for our Sales Orders.  We are using message type ORDERS and basic type ORDERS05.  What I would like to do is only create (or send) IDOCs that have a distribution channel value of 20.  I do not want to filter out only that IDOC segment I want to filter the complete IDOC.

I've successfully set up filtering using BD59, BD95, and BD64 but that only filters out that IDOC Segment.  How can i filter so that an IDOC is only created when the distribution channel value is 20?

Hi Tami,

This is basic functionality for output types. You can define your own access sequence which contains distribution channel. Assign this access sequence to output type. Once this set-up is done create condition type in VV11 accordingly only for this distribution channel. Test the same and I hope you will have your results as per requirement.

Your answer is working for both my sales order and delivery processes.  And this solution is so much easier than what I was thinking I'd have to do.
