Hi All,

Our backend system ECC already has below components installed. backend system is ECC 6 EHP6. We installed all these components during POC. Now we have built separate Front end gateway NW 74 server and want to connect it to this backend ECC server. Please can you suggest whether it is possible to connect these systems.

Hi!

Yes, it is possible...

Try this;

• Disable the backend gateway.
• The components SRA* & GB* are ok in the backend.
• Install again the UI components but now in the new frontend.
• With the UI components that are in the backend , i lived that, we had the UIAPFI70 component in the backend & frontend at the same time, because the first scope was a embedded deployment and then change to central hub.

We dont have any issue with those FI apps, just remember that all services must be activated from the new frontend gateway.

we have SAP_UI 750 SAPK-75004INSAPUI installed in Front end. This component should cover below UI components. can you confirm?

hI Ranjith,

If you are on 7.5, you should go with latest components : SAP_UI. Why are you going with old ones ?

Your system is at 7.4, then kindly check SAP_UI at that particular netweaver version.

Hi!

Certainly, it is possible install SAP_UI5 750 on NW 7.4, but i would prefer work with SAP_UI5 740 on NW 7.4 and SAP_UI5 750 on NW 750.

Some of the components are cover by SAP_UI5 750 and other are cover by SAP_GWFND (for example; UI2_FND, UI2_SRVC)
