Putaway in Lean WM

Hi All,

I have followed all the guide to setup Lean WM from SAP SDN (web reference and pdf by Prakash Pol)

I am able to create picking for outbound deliveries.

But, I am unable to create putaway.

I have tried from GR document and also inbound delivery, but no TR is created.

In MIGO, there is no WM field.

In VL31N, the overall wm status is blank.

What did I miss? Other thread said the Lean WM is able to create TO putaway from both reference.

Please help. Thank you.

Yes, I have check the degree of activation, and I have select "1" (Lean WM in connection with deliveries). So the TO should be able to be created from inbound and outbound.

yes what about the inventory management interface since you are receiving check the setting for movement type 101 and and movement indicator 'B'(assuming that you are doing recipt against PO)

Also could you share the screen if possible

Here is the movement assignment.

As I have other sloc/warehouse that is not Lean WM, the GR 101 is triggering TO just fine.

See the OSS note 1799141 - No Transfer Order created in Lean Warehouse, which explains the SAP design of LEAN WM

Above setting seems okey

might be you have to share few more information to analyze more in detail

Check the transaction data plant / storage location inbound delivery

WM movement type 101 which is created in the warehouse

So OK the Lean WM will not create TO for normal GR. But it will work for inbound delivery.

I have create PO with inbound delivery, but still no WM relevant in the delivery creation, thus cannot create putaway TO.

I assume the putaway TO will only have general infomation of the storage type, and there is no actual movement in the system, just like what I have seen in the picking TO.

is the inbound delivery created before or after the customizing?

is the item in the PO with account assignment?

Does the inbound delivery have a storage location?

So this is from my inbound screen.

Sloc is picked up from the PO, then warehouse is automatically selected, but no WM status.

The inbound is created after the customizing.

The PO have no acc. assignment.

I am currently using the "1" entry. I have also tried "4" for putaway only. But still unable.

Hmm, thanks to Mohd Khan, I checked the item delivery category. I am using ELN and the relevant for picking is unchecked.

So I ticked the picking, redo the inbound delivery, and now the WM status is on. I do the GR first in MIGO, and then try to do the putaway with LT03 and system is now showing the putaway screen. Save it, and the TO is created+confirmed.

Thank you Khan for pointing the item catageory, and thank you everyone.

Yes, I have made the assignment for my new Lean WM to sloc.

Enterprise structure -> assignment -> LE -> assign whse number to plant/sloc.
