How to disable 'Delete Text ' button from sales order header text

Hi All,

I need to disable 'Delete Text' button in Sales order header  Text  ( VA02).

Is there any other solution for this? any user exist ?

any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

Are you talking about the Text button comes under Go-to Header and Item Tab...?

If that is the case then you can try with screen/transaction variant SHD0.

I have never done that and never heard about such requirement.

Well if you dont mind can i ask you  that what is the reason of doing it. You can rather not maintain any text determination in SO - Heard and Item. So that user will never be able to maintain any text in SO.

i think that can be done by screen varient SHD0

For header

Program : SAPMV45A

Screen : 4002

For Item

Program : SAPMV45A

Screen : 4003

Thank you for your inputs but it is not possible for create a screen variant for sub screen that to standard and particular tab (inside Text Tab)

Hello Nisha,

You can insert a small piece of code in user exit available in MV45ZFZZ to make the delete text button grey out.

Speak to your ABAPer and he will have able to edit this screen field.

Hi Kivanc,

We have maintained some history in sales order header Text.

This text is used for audit purpose., but sometimes all text get deleted by user.

Unfortunately we don't have log  for this text to trace the same.If by mistaken user click on this button.

So I need to deactivate this button so that it will not delete all data for that text type.
