Unable to Logon in SAP Netweaver 7.4 Trial with Valid Temp License

Hi Gurus,

I just installed SAP Netweaver 7.4 ABAP in MaxDB 7.9 in trial version. After two days, I was unable to logon into the system with DDIC user (error in license check). I was able to logon into the system before. As you can see from the attachment, the temporary license still valid until December. I was trying to logon using SAP* user, somehow I couldn't logon with password 'PASS' even though I already delete and recreate the SAP* user.

Kindly need your help to solve this issue.

Hi Kris,


Note:

#1512766 - Most common reasons for error message: "Logon not possible (error in license check)"

shows different errors leading into this issue.

If none of this options match with your problem, please attach into this thread Dispatcher trace file (dev_disp) and a screenshot from the error you get.

I suppose you have tried to connect with SAP* in client 000...

Hi Kris,

have you checked that that all process are working in MMC?

Are there any entries in the trace files dev_w*?

Hi Kris,

I hope you've maintained login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0, if not please set it and restart SAP to get it activated.
