Java Version issue with SAP PI 7.5 Single Stack

Hi All,

I have started working on SAP PI 7.5 Single Stack.  I have tried  installing Java 8 , Java 7 and  Java 6 but it seems SAP PI 7.5 is not supporting any of these versions. It worked for Jave 8 for some time but after sometime Java started blocking ESR and ID. For Java 7 and 6 it didn't work at all.

Please let me know if any one worked with 7.5 Single stack.

Hi Rudra,

Try with java 8 update 05.

please try to clear java cache before next run. Hope it will work for you.

Rudra,

PO 7.5 supports Java 8.

Now within Java 8, the latest versions have had certain issues for which SAP has recommended that,

• In Advanced Tab of your Java -> Store User Settings in Roaming Profile is deselected.
• Make sure your Security Settings have your PI ESR and Integration Directory URLs in them in the Exception List.

Hi,

About the second Bhavesh recommendation, i had the same problem, you only need to add the PI machine in the way http://hostPI:port. Later i recommend to reboot your laptop.

Please check the SAP note

2073368 - Compatibility matrix: recommended Java version for Integration Builder tools of SAP Process Integration

As per note Java 8 update 31 and above should work for 64 bit.

What error you are getting while launching the ESR and ID? if its security error then refer the below blogs
