generate SQL from dfx IDT universe

Is it possible to generate a full sql script from the foundation layer of IDT?

Hi Buddy,

What do you mean by Full SQL Script?

Do you mean SQL Script to select all the columns of all the tables by joining all the tables?

You can go to the Query Panel in IDT from Actions -> Insert -> Query, it is the query panel as in Webi, you can create queries, run, save them while testing, without publishing universe to the repository.

Hi Mahboob

No I did not mean that.. I know about the query panel already..

I got around that by saving my dfx as pdf where I got the details of each and every join along with the SQL
