Impact of goods issue date on pricing date

hello,

currently pricing date in our sales order is the requested delivery date and the same pricing date is used for billing.

for one customer, we want pricing date to be based on PO date. that means we have to create a new Sales order type and in config, "proposal for pricing date". we use the option "PO date"

My question is the same PO date (pricing date) is carried forward from sales order  to billing document in standard sap but Iam not sure whether the actual PGI date of delivery has any impact on pricing date in billing document ?

secondly what if prcing is carried out again in billing document ?

regards

sachin

Hi Sachin,

Actual PGI Date it is also known as, service rendered date. It is critical for tax related condition types.

And update pricing functionality will not impact pricing date during invoice processing. Pricing date can be directly maintained at sales order or it can determined based on PO date or pricing date from referenced docs like contract,  quotation, etc.

If I'm not mistaken,  there is SAP Note on pricing date. You can search for that for your reference.

Thanks, JP
