Implementing duplicate search in sap mdg

Hello guys,

I am new to SAP MDG and i need to implement duplicate search in  MDG like if the material with same description and  base unit of measure exist in sap table and user is trying to create material with same material description and BOM it should get pop up message/information message that the following material exist with material number(material number that exist in sap table).

please help me in this .Thanks in advance.

You need to define match profile and Threshold level

Hi neelam,

For implementing duplicate search we first need to define the configuration for search connector in the SPRO transaction but when I am trying to do so the following error is coming .what is the solution for this?the status should be active but it is coming as error while preparing. Before implementing duplicate search we need to solve this issue.

Hi guys,

I want to know that, to implement duplicate search for MM using ES mode of search is it mandatory that we should have DQM installed in our system??

please guide me.
