Create Sales Orders app in S/4HANA 1511 FPS02 system

Hi experts,

We have a S/4HANA 1511 FPS02 system as a back end system and a separate NW 7.5 gateway system (front end system). We are looking to implement the Create Sales Orders Fiori app in this landscape. We have installed the component UIX01EAP 100 SP10 on the gateway system, but while trying to install the component SRA017 600 in the S/4HANA back end system we get the message Component SRA017 is already retrofitted into component version S4CORE rel.100.

We are able to find the SICF node SD_SO_CRE in the gateway system, but when we try to activate the OData service SRA017_SALESORDER_CREATE_SRV in the gateway system (using the system alias of the back end S/4HANA system) we are not able to find the service. Also the PFCG role is not available in the back end system.

So my question is - is it even possible to implement SAP Business Suite based (non S/4HANA) Fiori apps on S/4HANA 1511 systems? If yes then is there something in addition to installing the add-on components that is required to be done on the S/4HANA system so that we are able to activate the OData service?

Hi Saurabh,

As you can see from the message, S/4HANA delivers the main business functionalities through component S4CORE, you can't install other component that's conflict with S4CORE. And if you go to Fiori Apps Library doing a quick search you can find that there's no standard app for create sales order available now, that's why you can't find the odata service in the backend system, the Business Suite apps won't work in S/4HANA.

But you can configure Fiori Frontend system to use NWBC apps, it'll do the work.
