Material Group1 ,Group 2 fields are grayed in SO at line item level

Dear Gurus,

I wan to change the material group1 and material group 2 in my sales order at line item level, but these fields are disabled grayed and not allowing me select any value at line item level. could you please suggest me to how to make these fields editable at sales order line item level.

In standard systems these fields (WGRU1 and WGRU2) are not editable.

If you navigate to SPRO->Sales and Distribution->System Modifications, there is documentation on the various ways to influence the default system behavior in SD. In its sub-node User Exits->User Exits in Sales, they explain MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION, which is how you can make fields editable, grayed out or hidden in sales documents.

Read the documentation on MV45AFZZ and discuss the changes with your developer.

Hi,

go to VA02 and select on the application bar-stsem status check if any Transaction variant is assigned

now go to Transaction variant under SHD0 and edit the fields required.

There is no screen variant defined in SHD0.
