SM_CCL: OBJECTS causing MESSAGE BRAIN 299: CL_RSR_VAR_RUNTIME CONSTRUCTOR-01-

Hi,

We currently have an issue where the SM_CCL: OBJECTS for Custom Code Management is causing the following entries in SM21:

X MESSAGE BRAIN 299: CL_RSR_VAR_RUNTIME CONSTRUCTOR-01-

Based on note 2323195, this happens when the limit of active handles is reached and that this is an unrecoverable error.

I was wondering if I can do something with the job or anything in CCLM to run in chunks so as not to open a huge number of handles.

Quick update ... as advised by SAP, I implemented all the CCM related notes mentioned in RTCCTOOL. I re-ran one of the SM_CCL: OBJECTS job ... The runtime went down from 4.5 hours to 30 minutes. Anyways, I did not get the SM21 messages when I ran the job

Hi Gagandeep,

Thanks. The issue was actually resolved by the notes for CCM recommended by RTCCTOOL. One of notes improved the way data was being handled.
