System Config Comparison

Hi there,

We have recently taken over the Basis support for a company.

Both there DEV and QA systems had been opened for a number of years.

This could have led to each system being out of sync.

I would like to know I can make a say snapshot comparision of the different

systems to tell me if there are any differences e.g. no of objects in each system etc

I dont know if this in fact be done, but heres hoping

Not necessarily. QA is just a replica of the production environment whereas a DEV is where all your home grown ABAP's come from. You don't necessarily transport everything from DEV to all other systems. If your requirement is to check if the landscape is consistent then the best would be to check the components and their patch levels in all the systems.
