Background job took longer time after implement Oracle SecureFiles in TST03 table

Hi,

I just tried implementing SecureFiles on TST03 table which has LOBSEGMENT. But when I try to rerun the background job, it took longer time than before I implemented SecureFiles on TST03 table. Currently I'm using Oracle 11.2.0.3. My questions are:

1. What probably makes the background job took longer time when SecureFiles is impemented on TST03?

2. What is the best way to see the benefit of implementing SecureFiles on SAP especially on ECC?

This note will help you understand a bit more about SECUREFILES.

1426979 - Oracle 11g: SecureFiles - The new way to store LOB data

Just make sure you have a valid compression licence for Oracle.
