Image Provisioning

Hi Veterans,

Has anyone delved into image provisioning with IDM 8.0? I see that the attribute is saved in MD5 hash, with the default attribute settings. Could anyone please advise on how to convert from this default and provision to Active Directory?

Thanks & Regards,

Akhil

Hi Akhil,

The photo is stored somewhere else. The MD5 hash value is just an index or a pointer to the location of the picture.

The attribute is called "photo" that stores user photo in AD. If you are able to save photo in IdM DB, you shall be able to read it out with standard attribute %MX_USER_PICTURE% or with an internal function, remove the header, then you shall be able to test the photo provisioning.

Thanks Chenyang,

Once removing the header, is there a conversion that needs to happen at provisioning? base64 or Hexidecimal? the provisioning is working without error but AD cannot render the image.
