Hi Friends,

We have production system running on ASE with linux OS.version.

Enqueue locks showing error in SM50. Attached screenshot for reference.

I had restarted the server with OS and now its running fine.Suggest your valuable inputs on this to fix the issue permanently.

Below is the parameter in our RZ10 instance profile parameter.

rdisp/scheduler/prio_high/max_runtime=60m

Pankaj

Hello Pankaj,

Your question seems to be more related to the Enqueue Server itself than ASE.

I think folks from SCN can help you better.

There is also this FAQ for Enqueue Server that can be found in Enqueue Server (BC-CST component) wiki:

Hi Pannkaj

Please check the result of below steps if OK?

SAP SM12 -> Goto/Extra -> Diagnosis/Diagnosis in Update and

SAP SM12 -> “test” in OK/command window then you will see extra option in menu bar Error handling -> Diagnosis Environment.

Enqueue overload - collecting and analyzing the enqueue log information - Application Server Infrast...

Check SM21, enqueue logs in ASCS folder. Was there any connectivity issue with enqueue service?

I think, according to your work process state, there are also related dumps like DBINF_SQL or MESSAGE_TYPE_X. I also want to know here whether your sytem that you are describing here, is it a clustered or a non-clustered system. Are you cancel/choose-delete those jobs in SM37? are you able to delete those locks in sm12?

There are other related parameters, what about those :-

rdisp/scheduler/prio_normal/max_runtime

rdisp/scheduler/prio_low/max_runtime

rdisp/max_wprun_time

can check for wait-locks & deadlocks also in DB02. Also need to check system date & time & network here. did you perform any recent kernel upgrade?

Thanks,

Kaushik
