transport a role problem

hi

who to transfer a role one client to another client.

in my dev server 2 clients 230& 320 are created

in 230 client a created a role .

now am sending 230 to 320.

when am transport a role using mass transport it given the error. client specific objects are not transported.

but i want that role in 320 client .

pls help me how to copy or transfer a role.

Hi Kiran,

In SCC4 I suppose the client setting is set to " No changes Allowed " under changes and transports for client-specific objects in client 230 of your system.Set it to "Automatic Recording of changes" and try transporting the roles.

Another way to transport your role is the upload/download option in PFCG !

Check your RFC Connection in (SM59) and check your Transport setting(STMS) and check your client setting in (SCC4).
