Retention period for unarchived SFC

Hello

I need to know how SAP ME calculate the retention period for un archived SFC.

Is it calclulated from the date of unarchiving ?

I fear that archiving batch collect the SFC being unarchived ago .

Hi,

The just un-archived SFC is treaded the same way as another SFC eligible for archving at the next run of Archive job. The same rules are applied, no specific retention period.

So, "retention period" for un-archived SFC is a time span till the next run

We plan the archiving job to be runned every day due to volume of datas

we have also returned SFC from customer to be  analysed en repared within one week

Can you guide me

You should return such SFC via RMA SFC Receipt which will trigger unarchive and update the SFC so that it is not archived again at the next run of Archive job. For details, please check online help and Hot-To Guides.
