Hello Diptesh,

Please execute oraroot.sh, sapdba_role.sql and sapconn_role.sql.

If you are using oracle user as per Oracle 12 check following note

1598594 - BR*Tools configuration for Oracle installation using user "oracle"

Thanks,

Hardeep

Check if the Oracle/BR*Tools user is part of the required groups.

Hi Naik,

The problem may be caused by that brtools permission changed. Please check SAP note 113747 for the brtools permission setting.

Following error could be caused by that <sid>adm user does not have permission to oracle control file:

'SHELL=/bin/sh /oracle/DVB/12102/bin/rman nocatalog'

RMAN-03009: failure of catalog command on default channel at 09/01/2016 11:09:39

ORA-19564: error occurred writing 8192 bytes at block number 1

ORA-27091: unable to queue I/O

ORA-27041: unable to open file

IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 13: Permission denied

Best regards,
James

Hi Diptesh,

Please recheck all the steps as per SAP Note 1598594. Also please confirm if your Oracle installation is being done by oracle user OR orasid.

Please paste BR* tools file permissions here to verify further.

Thanks,

Manish
