Special Character Issue in FCC

Former Member

Hello All,

We have a proxy to file(.txt) interface with FCC, in the proxy data we are getting one special character(ù) and it is interpreting correctly in the operation mapping test tab, where as after file content conversion it is getting replaced as "?".

If any one have idea about this issue kindly help me.

Thanks & Regards,

AK

Hi AK,

Please ask the sender side to eliminate the character before sending to PI.

Such characters might invalidate the xml and even you can face mapping or FCC failure in future.

in sender channel select file type as text and set encoding to utf-8/ISO-8859-7

Thanks for the response.

We are doing FCC in the receiver channel not in the sender channel and sender is proxy.

Also I had tried with that in the file adapter but no luck.
