Dear Experts,

We have integration from Successfactors to Third party applications using SAP PI 7.11 as a middleware.

All the applications interfaces are working fine but except one which faced performance issues. This message taking long time around 1.30 Hr to process the SFAPI lookups. As the message is low in size of 2.5MB around 80+  employees records, but we received EWA criticality.

Please provide your valuable inputs to come over this issue...

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Y V P Deepak

Dear Deepak,

The performance of a message shoudl depend on very various things in the same time. Could you provide us the whole message log, in order to identify which steps taking a long time?

After you identify that which step takes a long time, please refer to the performance guide which is related to ABAP and JAVA stack as well:

Hi Deepak,

Have you analysed the message processing logs to see where the delay is in the call? Such as, message mapping, calling the receiver system etc.

Also, have you looked at the performance monitoring analysis to get more insight on issue?

Unless the performance issue is caused in SAP PI system (bad mapping design etc.), you can't do much on SAP PI side. If the issue is not in SAP PI system, try to identify if it is being caused because of network latency or end system side.

Sanjeev.

Is messages are getting stuck in queue ?

No, there is no stuck. Total message is getting processed and reaching to the destination server.

Only problem is taking time in processing the message.

Thanks & Regards,
