Hi Viswa,
If your free goods determined from standard free goods determination, system will automatically will determine condition type for discount based on the of free goods determination provided your pricing procedure is equipped for that, says, R100.
If your free goods not determined through free goods determination and that is determined or represented separate line item in sales order. Then you can control this behaviour item category. REFER item category TANN.
Thanks, JP
Dear moazzam,
thanks for the reply
As per the client requirement in development we have done 3 combinations
1)customer/material
2)customer rele...
3)materials combination
so now client want maintaining in material combination...but there is no particular materials are free goods...
they are maintained records in material combination so that zxxx discount is determining in freegood material for main item..

Hi
If we talk about any standard solution then it is best to have different combination for discount condition types and make item category as criteria to maintain this.
BTW why dont you maintain discount condition record only for those materials which are not being used as free goods? What are the condition tables and fields you are using for maintaining this condition record?
Thank$
