Hello all,

I am currently trying to install EHP8 for ERP 6 on Windows 2008 OS and DB SQL 2012. I have problem to find .SAR files part of the Kernel.

I have downloaded the latest Kernel from

SAP APPLICATION COMPONENTS/SAP ERP/SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE/EHP8 FOR SAP ERP 6.0/

SAP KERNEL 7.45 64-BIT UNICODE

Thanks in advance.

Hi Basis,

Download Kernel patch level > 100 both for SAPEXEDB and SAPEXE.

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter

-> SUPPORT PACKAGES & PATCHES

-> By Alphabetical Index (A-Z)

-> K

-> SAP KERNEL 64-BIT UNICODE

-> SAP KERNEL 7.45 64-BIT UNICODE

-> #Database Dependent and MS SQL Server

All,

Thank you for replying.

Just found 1680045 - Release Note for Software Provisioning Manager 1.0 SP17

I hope this will help.

Specially Kernel Media and Current / latest 7.4X Kernel section.

Work is in progress.

Hi Raj,

Please check your kernel is fully downloaded or not, and also check the file is corrupted at time of copying.

Hi Raj,

Then you need to conform, you have the 2 parts of SAP Kernel or not. "Kernel Database Dependent part and Database Independent part", ie SAPEXEDB and SAPEXE (Ning Suggested).

Maybe you have only "SAPEXE" so SWPM shows EAPEXEDB is missing.....

Hi Raj.

I think you may have to download the Kernel 7.45 database dependence from SAP Service market place or check the download folder file name start with SAPEXEDB*.SAR  if it is yes, Just do the rename file from SAPEXEDB*.SAR  to SAPEXEDB.SAR

Hi SS,

Thank you for your response.

SAPEXEDB.SAR already exist in

E:\kernel\51050627_9new\DATA_UNITS\K_745_U_WINDOWS_X86_64\MSS

Thank you.
